Reviews
The best Ramen I've found in Atlanta so far. The broth was so flavorful and rich...perfect for a cold winter's day. I had the Hiro Chashu Ramen with a Japanese Sweet Iced Plum Tea & it was excellent. The noodles had the perfect bite and the protein was seasoned perfectly. The service was amazing...Steven was great! The atmosphere was nice and cozy... Can't wait to go back!
This is a great little spot for Ramen off Ponce across from the Ponce City Market. Parking is a little tricky sometimes depending on when you go since the parking lot is as close to my idea of hell if you're attempting to go east on Ponce. This spot has some pork options, but kind of excels at their Chicken broth options and has a Hokkaido style noodle if I recall. Which means it's thin and has a good bite to it. Service is quicker than a lot of spots, most likely due to their limited seating capacity. Mostly suited for single seating, they have maybe 5-7 table tops available. So you could be waiting a bit if you're with a group, but being single, I can slide right into a spot without issue. This spot is definitely more of a hole in the wall bar feel. It would work well in a dive bar area as well. Cost is about average, $15-20 per person.
We came on Saturday after the 1-10-25 snow day & were seated pretty quickly. The ramen, we both ordered the Hira Chasu ramen, came out quick and was delicious. I thought it may have been a little salty, but my husband said his was fine. TBF, my taste buds have been off a bit. I subbed the spinach/kale noodles and added the seasoned egg. None of the ramen dishes come with the egg, which I think is odd. The broth was very flavorful and the ingredients worked well together. I only ate half as that was enough. Had I known the ramen would come out so quickly, I wouldn't have ordered the fried chicken buns. I don't like it. It's made with thigh meat, which I'm not a fan of, but aside from that the bao or bun wasn't as soft and fluffy as I'm accustomed to. I wouldn't order it again, but would make the drive for that yummy ramen with sliced & shredded pork, pork broth, tree ear. I wish they had more veggie options like bok choy. It's a tight spot; a very intimate place. They say it can hold 52 people, but I'm not sure how.
Great location and cute place. The staff was very friendly and polite. We walked in about 30 mins before closing and they accommodated us and did not feel rushed. The food came out fast and tasty. I ordered the Tori Paitan a level 2 for the spice and it did not disappoint. The broth was very flavorful and I added an egg and corn to my ramen. It came out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. Cant wait to visit this spot again.
Really enjoyed the food. Got the ultra spicy bowl and it did not disappoint. Will be returning!
